Why Great Houses Sit in the Market: A Rescue Story

A beautiful property that nobody seemed to want. Average photos, a generic description and a lofty price in a shifting market was a bad combination. We shined this property up, took some incredible photographs and gave the marketing a whole new personality. The result? A quick sale and a relieved homeowner.

The Problem

After a whole year on the market, this house was not selling. Buyers weren’t even noticing it anymore and the property was being bypassed for newer, fresher listings on the market. Even if the house was going to get an offer, it was likely going to be from a bargain hunter.

The Goal

We needed the buyers to notice it again as if it was a brand new listing on the market. To do this, we explained that the house needed a whole new marketing strategy. Every house tells a story – but this one needed a re-write.

The Solution

We got to work, providing a list of recommendations we thought would make the biggest impact. We refreshed the home with yard work, paint touch-ups, and a top-to-bottom deep clean—then restaged the furniture, artwork, and decor to create a spacious, modern feel for families. Then we took stunning photos focusing on the location and customized the marketing to be aimed directly at families who would want an executive 4 bedroom home.

The Result

We got an offer the first week on the market!
